The CEF goes live on TMJ4

June 21st, 2013

After the intense Ragnar Relay, we were anxious to tell Milwaukee about why we stayed up for 30 hours and collectively ran over 200 miles.  Vince Vitrano of Milwaukee's NBC station TMJ4, was eager to help tell our story.

This was our debut on local television and we hope to get back to the screen again soon!

Tammy Durand - ABC's founder and our inspiration

Susan Smith March 2012

Since the first time the team met Tammy, we have found a new meaning to selflessness.  ABCs was the first school the CEF funded, and we still continue to fund it as much as possible today. We love watching the school grow!

CEF President, Vanessa Weber talks about the organization's mission.

Anh Nguyen April 2013

Vanessa talks about the history, the people, and the in-place NGOs that inspired her to help start The Cambodia Education Fund.  She explains how she stays connected to Cambodia while stationed in Milwaukee as a teacher. Finally, hear about the progress that has occured in Cambodia since the CEF's first visit!

We were able to interview a few of our scholars on a recent trip to Cambodia. Hearing about her experiences and her thoughts on education, allowed us to see what an excellent choice we made in supporting her. She is in the second year of her scholarship at university.
